A highly distinctive Ferrari 365 GTC/4 will make its Blenheim Palace debut this September as part of the prestigious Salon Privé 2026 Concours line-up.

The rare grand tourer, one of only three examples originally finished in Verde Blenheim, is believed to be the only Ferrari 365 GTC/4 specified with a beige interior. Its appearance at Oxfordshire’s leading luxury automotive event creates a fitting connection between the car’s unique colour and its historic venue.

Originally registered in January 1972 and delivered shortly afterwards to its first owner, Baron Giovanni Silvestri, the Ferrari spent more than four decades in Italy before later moving to Germany with its current custodian in 2013.

The Salon Privé appearance will mark the first time the car has been displayed at Blenheim Palace, where it will form part of the Passione Ferrari Concours class celebrating some of the marque’s most significant and desirable models.

Built between 1971 and 1972, the Ferrari 365 GTC/4 was created as a refined grand tourer combining Ferrari performance with long-distance comfort. Sharing its mechanical heritage with the legendary Daytona, the model offered a more practical and luxurious driving experience.

Only 505 examples of the 365 GTC/4 were produced, making it considerably rarer than many of Ferrari’s better-known classics. Powered by a 4.4-litre Colombo V12 engine producing 340bhp, the car was capable of reaching speeds of up to 163mph.

Designed by Pininfarina, the Ferrari features the elegant styling associated with the era, including pop-up headlights, while also offering features such as power steering, air conditioning and occasional rear seating.

The unique Ferrari will join an exceptional collection of vehicles already confirmed for Salon Privé 2026, including the 1952 Ferrari 212 Coupé Speciale by Ghia, once owned by Argentinian President Juan Perón, as well as a rare 1953 Bristol 404 Prototype, a 1963 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster and a restored 1982 Lamborghini Countach 5000S.

Andrew Bagley, Chairman and co-founder of Salon Privé, said the Ferrari 365 GTC/4 represented exactly the type of rare and historically significant vehicle celebrated by the event.

“Those who know them appreciate just how special they are,” he said. “To find an example as rare and original as this is remarkable enough, but the fact it is finished in Verde Blenheim makes the Salon Privé Concours field at Blenheim Palace the ideal stage for the 365.”

Now in its 21st year, Salon Privé returns to Blenheim Palace from Wednesday 02 to Sunday 06 September 2026, bringing together rare classic cars, modern hypercars, luxury brands and hospitality across five days of automotive celebration.

The event’s Concours by Aviva Private Clients will showcase some of the world’s most significant privately-owned vehicles, judged by an international panel of experts across a series of curated classes.

The programme will also include Ladies’ Day by Boodles, Concours de Vente, the Club Trophy presented by Lockton, Supercar Sunday and Lifestyle Clubs Day.
