About Banbury Remembrance Day 2024
Banbury Town Council will host its annual Remembrance Day commemorations on Sunday, 10 November 2024.
Remembrance Sunday offers a national occasion to contemplate the service and sacrifice of individuals who protected our freedoms and preserved our way of life.
Tributes will be paid to the Armed Forces and emergency services, and those who have lost their lives in conflicts will be honoured.
A service will be held at St Mary’s church, and it will also be broadcast outside the church for those who can’t be inside. Individuals at home will have the opportunity to watch a live stream of the proceedings.
As a town, Banbury will unite across faiths, cultures, and backgrounds to commemorate the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.

Remembrance Day is organised by Banbury Town Council in support of the Royal British Legion (Banbury branch).
