About Bicester Heritage October 2025 Scramble

The final Scramble at Bicester Motion of 2025 takes place on Sunday 05 October, with old names taking the limelight.

Restomods and Reboots will bring together refined and reimagined cars with the revived and the revivalist. Expect the finest restomods, old names in new guises, and the type of revivalist designs that were all the rage at the turn of the century.

Elsewhere, the Autojumble returns to Hangar 113, the Lotus Esprit will turn 50, with much more still to come. As ever, the Scramblers membership will bring an eclectic mix of machinery to the Avenues.

Family entertainment will be provided by The Little Top, with more hands-on activities courtesy of the ever-popular Mini Landers and Reserve Rangers.

What to expect

Step inside the workshops and showrooms of industry leaders, peeking behind the curtain of the finest of their craft at the most evocative of settings.

You’ll find avenues lined with classic, vintage and modern collector cars, from Austin Seven to the latest hypercars, and curated displays celebrating the extraordinary.

There’s entertainment for all ages, food for all tastes and history at every turn.

Car displays

The avenues will be lined with cars from the Scramblers membership, from prewar specials and postwar luxury to modern performance and classic cars, while curated displays and celebrations bring an eclectic mix.

Explore our base

Wander the tree-lined avenues, with history at every turn. The Heritage Trail reveals the stories hidden between the red-brick walls, and specialists open their doors to give you a glimpse inside. Many of the buildings are listed and have been meticulously preserved, along with some of the fascinating features within.

Family fun

Every age is accounted for at a Scramble, whether it’s the very earliest future car enthusiast or the young at heart. The Little Top is a popular fixture with free activities and crafts. The Joystick Club offers the chance to pedal little planes and build little flyers, Reserve Rangers inspires youngsters to explore nature and Mini Lander Driving Experience gives a taste of the best 4×4 by far.

Around the Scramble

Away from the car displays and kids’ activities, there’s a full day’s fun to be had with a variety of partner displays and stands, including on-road test drives of new cars. Building Futures with Bicester Motion introduces the next phases of our home with hands-on activities and the more than 50 specialists who are preserving the future of old cars will welcome you into their special workshops, too.

About Bicester Heritage Scramble

Founded in 2014, the Sunday Scramble began as a ‘cars and coffee’ get-together with some 100 visitors. The event has grown significantly, with over 7,000 visitors gathering at Bicester Heritage for the ‘season opener’ Scramble in January 2019.

The Sunday Scramble is now an event of national repute that attracts automobile enthusiasts from across the UK and Europe. It offers the opportunity to explore the former RAF Bicester base, the restored wartime buildings, and the specialist businesses based there. It truly is an open-day event, unlike any other.

Having been off-limits to the public for the best part of one hundred years, in the hands of the RAF and MOD, historic vehicle owners and enthusiasts can now drive through the gates to this once-hidden location – bringing their own pre-1990 vehicles to add to the diverse display of machinery that makes this event so spectacular.

With over 40 specialist motoring businesses situated in a jaw-dropping location, this is an open-day event unlike any other. See inside the workshops and showrooms at the freshly restored historic buildings of the former RAF Bicester, explore the unique site and take in its evocative atmosphere. Expect to find plenty of automotive displays, food stalls, workshops and showrooms to explore, an eclectic mix of cars and a great family-focused automotive experience.

Taking place on a Sunday morning, this event encourages historic motoring enthusiasts to get involved and bring their pre-1990 vehicles to join the eclectic display. From commercials to motorcycles, pre-War, veterans and modern classics, the mix is astonishing and ever-changing. Nestled between the 1920s RAF buildings and tree-lined avenues, this location has a film-set quality and a truly unique buzz.
