About Carterton Fayre and Christmas Lights Switch-on 2025
Carterton’s annual Christmas lights switch-on event and lantern parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29 November 2025, from 1.00pm onwards.
The lantern parade meets at 5.15pm at Carterton Community College. The lights switch on by a special guest will take place at 6.00pm in the Market Square.
Expect live music, stalls with crafts, gifts and refreshments, funfair rides, festive entertainment, food & drink, and, of course, Father Christmas will be in his grotto.
