Expect Santa’s Grotto and stalls in The Market Place. There will also be an artistic craft fair by the Art Society in the Corn Exchange. The light switch-on will take place at 5.00pm.

The Abingdon Extravaganza is returning in 2022. It’s a family-focused festive event in the heart of the town to kick off the festive season.
A free social community event organised by a group of volunteers and supported by the Wantage Town Council and local sponsors. It is an evening of various activities with a lovely Christmas feel, including seasonal music and light.
