About Easter Fun at Cogges Manor Farm
Cogges springs to life with farmyard fun and a new season of family-friendly events. Meet the farmyard animals, sheep and goats, ponies, lambs, chickens, ducks and turkeys, including many rare breeds.
For the Easter/Spring holidays, there’s lots to enjoy.
- Alice’s Wonderland: Wander into the historic Manor House and you’ll step into the world of Alice in Wonderland! See the Mad Hatter at his tea party and the Queen of Hearts in her Parlour (included in admission)
- Cupcakes in the Pantry: Take a break and enjoy a delicious cupcake from Alice’s Pantry on the ground floor of the Manor House (Easter weekend only 10.00am-4.00pm)
- Easter Craft Activites: Head to the back kitchen in the house and take part in some lovely Easter Craft Activities (available everyday, included in admission)
- Baking demonstrations on the 19th Century Range: See baking on this fascinating and original 200 year old Range (11.00am-2.00pm most days, subject to volunteer availability)
- Hunt for knitted rabbits in the Manor House Our hunt will have you hopping all over the fascinating 800-year-old Manor House. Count the rabbits and collect a special certificate from the Welcome Desk (included in admission)
- Meet the chicks and lambs Out on the farm, meet the friendly animals, see the fluffiest of chicks in our special hatchery and meet the cutest lambs from 1st April (included in admission)
- Hunt for the Easter Eggs in the Straw: Jump into the straw in our stable and find the hidden easter eggs for a prize. £2 per go. (10.00am-3.00pm 1st-8th April)
- Follow the Wonderland Trail: Alice’s Wonderland Trail will take you to all corners of Cogges Manor Farm. Tick off the trail as you go, spot them all and collect your prize from the Welcome Desk (included in admission)
- Try out our brand new Mini-Tractors: We’ve got lots of brand new mini-tractors for little farmers to enjoy (included in admission)
- Brand new supersize sandpit: 5 tonnes of supersoft sand in a custom made supersize sandpit – get digging! (included in admission)
- Meet our new milkable model cow: Freya is our new model cow, you’ll find her near the sandpit area, she’s a beauty and can be milked too! (included in admission)
- Feel like the Queen of Hearts In the Café: Delicious breakfasts, light lunches, children’s menu, tasty treats, homemade cakes and bakes are fit for royalty.
