The Festival of British Eventing takes place at Gatcombe Park, home of HRH The Princess Royal and her family, in one of the most beautiful areas of the Cotswolds.
This established and world-respected sporting event has been running for nearly 40 years, creating a must-have date in the diary for both competitors and the general public alike.
The Festival of British Eventing incorporates the Magic Millions British Open, Intermediate, and Novice Championships, as well as the Corinthian Cup and the RoR/NTF Retrained Racehorse Event Championship.
It is the only event in the equestrian calendar that provides five Championships and, as a result, is a genuine showcase of one of the most challenging and competitive sports – Eventing. The best of the best competes at The Festival.
But it is not just about the world-class competition. For this one weekend in the height of British Summer, Gatcombe Park is transformed into the perfect destination for a great day out.
There is something for everybody at the Festival of British Eventing, whether it be soaking up the atmosphere by the Main Ring, watching not only the competition unfold but an action-packed entertainment programme or satisfying their shopaholic and foodie cravings with a diverse and interesting Shopping & Food Village.
The public also gets a rare chance to enjoy this exceptionally beautiful estate with tonnes to do and experience for all ages.
