The spring 2023 Jousting Tournament at Blenheim Palace, featuring the Knights of Middle England, Falconry and other attractions, will take place on the South Lawn on the weekend from 29 April to 01 May.

The Knights bring the much-fabled sport of jousting full tilt into the 21st Century. Jousting is one of the finest and most colourful sports in our history – a chance to see pageantry, competition and tradition combined in an elegant, unusual and exciting equestrian event.
Visitors will be transported back in time to a medieval tournament complete with authentic tiltyard, royal box, falconry, archery and hand-to-hand combat. Expect thrills – and maybe spills! – in an action-packed day of discovery.
Recreating the glorious jousting matches of Britain’s past, knights in shining armour will take to the field on their noble steeds in a momentous display of bravery and skill beneath the spectacular backdrop of Blenheim Palace.
Knights and horses will be costumed with chainmail and steel armour for the period 1200 to 1250. The knights will be using 14-foot-long lances.
