About Marlow Town Band 120 Year Anniversary Concert

Marlow Town Band will mark its 120th anniversary with a special celebratory concert, promising an evening of outstanding brass band music.

The programme will feature rousing marches, classical favourites, popular hits, film themes and much-loved pieces from the brass band tradition.

Founded in 1906, Marlow Town Band is a traditional British brass band with deep roots in the local community. Throughout the year, the band performs at local events, river regattas, seasonal celebrations and formal concerts, proudly maintaining a musical tradition that has been part of Marlow life for over a century.

The band’s members come from all walks of life and across generations, ranging from students to retirees, all united by a shared passion for making music together.

New players are always welcome, whether experienced musicians or those returning to playing after a break.

Rehearsals take place every Monday evening in Marlow, with a limited number of instruments available to borrow free of charge and no joining or membership fees.
