About The Choral Pilgrimage 2025: Oxford
The Sixteen’s 2025 Choral Pilgrimage tour ‘Angel of Peace’ celebrates the 90th birthday of Arvo Pärt. His mesmerising soundworld is enfolded within an enthralling musical journey which traverses six centuries.
Join us on this musical journey at St John the Evangelist’s Church in Oxford to enjoy a combination of medieval sounds from Hildegard of Bingen with the contemporary voices of John Tavener, Will Todd and Anna Clyne.
The Choral Workshop taking place at 11.30am in St John the Evangelist Church, provides an equally rewarding opportunity to explore the music inspired by The Sixteen’s 2025 Choral Pilgrimage programme including pieces by Taverner and Pärt.
Tickets for the workshop cost £30.00 (with £5.00 off when you buy a workshop and concert ticket together).
