The Truth in Politics show: join bestselling author Mike Berners-Lee and award-winning journalist Jennifer Nadel for an evening that’s as entertaining as it is unsettling, exploring how political lies have warped our democracy and what it will take to set the record straight.
Drawing on Mike’s latest book, A Climate of Truth: Why We Need It and How to Get It and Jennifer’s campaign to introduce a law banning political deception, the event will expose the machinery of misinformation and offer hope for how truth can still triumph.
They will be joined on stage by Jessica Townsend, founder of MP Watch, whose grassroots network aims to hold politicians to account. Expect lively conversation, surprising revelations, and a few uncomfortable truths.

About The North Wall Arts Centre
The North Wall Arts Centre is an an award-winning theatre, gallery and performing arts centre located in Summertown, North Oxford. The facility was opened in 2007, and offers a fully flexible 200-seat theatre, a public art gallery, as well as studios for dance and drama.
The centre is owned by St Edward’s School and shared with the city, and it was created for the benefit of emerging artists across a range of disciplines. The programme of events at The North Wall places emphasis on new and innovative work.
