Headington Market in Oxford is a weekly Saturday Market featuring local produce and products from further afield. The market is organised by Headington Action, a charity representing residents’ associations and other bodies with links to Headington.
Where is the Market?
The market takes place on both sides of London Road, in the main Headington shopping area. Stalls range from outside the Royal Standard to Kennett Road on the south side and between Osler Road and Old High Street on the north side.
When is the market?
Every Saturday from 9.00am to 2.00pm.
What’s on offer
Produce, much sourced locally, including plants and flowers, fresh vegetables and fruit, meats and savoury pies, eggs, British cheeses, bread, cakes and pastries, brownies, honey and preserves, fresh fish, curries and Indian snacks, delicacies from southern Italy and Mediterranean, hot street food, and handicrafts. There is a good range of regular stalls, with others being occasional.
