Located in Walton Street in the heart of the trendy Jericho area of North Oxford, Raoul’s Bar is an intimate lounge bar with a hugely popular cocktail menu and a good late-night buzz.
Editors update: Raoul’s is not quite ready to reopen its doors since it closed them for lockdown. We can only hope they’ll reopen in the not too distant future.
Raoul’s has been a cocktail institution since 1979 but by 1999 was looking very tired indeed. Following a major refurbishment, Raoul’s was transformed into a great little cocktail bar, and it has since then won a multitude of awards, including, at some point, being named as one of the top 50 bars in the world by The Sunday Times.
In addition to the bar, Raoul’s also operates a liquor store, where they sell everything you need for your home bar or event. They sell all their liquor by the bottle as well as glassware, ice and cocktail equipment.
