About The Oxfordshire Yeoman

The Oxfordshire Yeoman is a family-run free-house serving great pub grub in the heart of Freeland Oxfordshire.

The Oxfordshire Yeoman is a proper traditional watering hole where you’ll find a warm welcome from Anna & Paul, who took on the pub at the end of October 2020. They wanted a new challenge and fell in love with the pub as soon as they stepped in back in July 2020.

The Oxfordshire Yeoman has a changing range of local and well-recognised cask ales, lagers and spirits, plus a well-stocked wine shelf. And in terms of food, expect hearty pub grub made with local produce and cooked fresh.

Anna & Paul truly believe pubs should be the focus of village community life. Not just by providing good food and drink, but by being the social centre of a village. And the place to go for a debate about the ups and downs of the day.

Anna & Paul want a pub that, regardless of whether you are local or not, you feel at home and part of the community when you walk in. A place where you’ll buy your 18-year-old their first drink, celebrate a cricket win with the team, or host Granny’s wake because it’s where she’s had her weekly shandy for the last 20 years.

Pop in for a drink, stop for a coffee or join Anna & Paul for dinner.
