Grove Business Park in Wantage has marked a significant step forward in its major redevelopment programme, as the shells of the first two new buildings—Logica 1 and Logica 2—reach completion.
On a recent visit, Olly Glover MP toured the site to see progress on Phase One, which will deliver three new ‘space-for-science’ buildings totalling 87,500 sq ft (8,130 sq m). All three facilities, including the flagship Ruddock building, are scheduled for availability in summer 2026.
Construction began earlier this summer, with Logica 1 and Logica 2 now featuring weather-proof shells that allow internal work to move ahead. The two buildings will offer flexible mid-tech space suitable for a range of uses, with units available up to 31,226 sq ft (2,902 sq m).
The Ruddock, a hybrid building designed specifically for Office, Lab and R&D users, will provide up to 25,144 sq ft (2,336 sq m).

Despite one of the wettest and windiest days of 2025 forcing the postponement of plans to top-out The Ruddock, the development team continued their tour, inspecting the interiors of the advancing Logica buildings.
Spirits remained high, with the milestone underscoring momentum behind the long-term vision for the site: a 377,000 sq ft (35,000 sq m) future innovation hub capable of supporting up to 2,500 jobs.
Will Lawrie, Head of Property Management at Oxford University Endowment Management Ltd, said:
“We were really pleased to welcome Olly Glover to the Park to share the progress we are making and we’re well on schedule for completion next Summer. It’s great to see our vision for the Park taking shape and we’re excited about the new opportunities that we are creating in the science and technology sectors.”

Olly Glover, MP for Didcot and Wantage, added:
“I was delighted to be invited to tour the site with the development team and to see first-hand the transformation that Grove Business Park is undergoing, where we spoke about the potential of the three new ‘space-for-science’ buildings which will be opening in the summer of 2026.
“This new innovation hub on a brownfield site is hugely important for Wantage and the wider Oxfordshire Science Vale, with the potential for 2,500 jobs on site.
“It is important that growth is supported by the right infrastructure, which is why I’m continuing to push for a new railway station at Grove. I’m delighted to have the backing of Grove Business Park, as well as the Oxford Endowment Fund for this project, which will create long-lasting benefits for future employees based in Logica 1, Logica 2 and The Ruddock.”
Acquired by the Oxford Endowment Fund in 2022, the Park is undergoing a major transformation that includes new buildings, improved landscaping, enhanced amenities and better connections to surrounding communities.
Already home to a diverse business community, the expanded Park will continue to support innovation in a location with a long history of research and technological development.
