Grove Business Park in Wantage has welcomed Croyde Medical, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of maternity equipment, as its latest tenant while work progresses on a major expansion of the site.

The company, which provides specialist products and tailored clinical support to the NHS and other healthcare providers, has signed up for a modern 3,419 sq ft unit at the Park.

Stuart Hobin, Managing Director of Croyde Medical, said the move marks an important step in the firm’s growth. He explained:

“Grove Business Park is a great location for us and the high-spec modern unit will provide the perfect environment and space to grow our business further having acquired QED Scientific Ltd in October last year.

“We are pleased to be joining the growing science and technology business community at the Park and look forward to being a part of the wider expansion.”

The Park, located near Wantage, is positioning itself as a hub for life sciences, technology and innovation businesses. Its ongoing redevelopment is set to deliver up to 377,000 sq ft of additional space across future phases, creating a modern campus that could support as many as 2,500 jobs.

Meanwhile, existing tenant Navtech Radar has extended its stay, signing a new five-year lease on its two units totalling 10,062 sq ft. The award-winning company designs and manufactures advanced radar detection systems used in automation, safety and security applications.

Jan Losch, Director of Savills, joint leasing agent for the Park, welcomed the latest additions to the tenant line-up:

“It’s great news to have Croyde Medical, a leading NHS medical equipment supplier at Grove Business Park.

It’s another boost to the growing tenant line-up following clean energy technology company LUX joining earlier in the year and Navtech Radar committing to a further 5 years.

“It’s no surprise however, as the Park offers ideal space for R&D, Lab and Technology businesses.

The Park’s expansion will provide even more opportunities in a vibrant and sustainable campus environment with state-of-the-art facilities for innovation, life sciences and other advanced technology sectors.

Phase One is well underway and we are already speaking to businesses about the first 89,500 sq ft, which will become available in Summer 2026.”

Grove Business Park currently covers 260,000 sq ft across 17 properties on a 32.7-acre site and is home to around 40 businesses. It was acquired by the Oxford Endowment Fund with the aim of building on its track record as a centre for research and innovation.

The new development is being designed by SRA Architects and managed by atlp consulting, with Savills and Bidwells acting as joint leasing agents.
