Metro Bank, the UK’s community bank, will be celebrating its Spring Fling with live music in and around its Queen Street store on Tuesday, 10 May.

Metro Man – the Bank’s mascot – will also make an appearance and be handing out treats from a sweet pop-up stall outside the store on the day.

Live music will be provided by The Indie Rollers – an acoustic duo specialising in pop, Irish songs, rock and soul. Their live set-up consists of two guitars and harmonising vocals with stripped percussion.

The duo plays acoustic arrangements of classic pop songs and may even change a song or two to include Metro Bank in the vocals.

“It feels so good to finally be staging a celebratory face to face event,” explains Oxford Metro Bank’s Area Director, Heather Wood. “We are a hub for our local communities and everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun.

“We are famous for our love of dogs, so if anyone wants to bring along their four legged friends, free treats and bandanas as well as water bowls will be readily available.”

The celebrations will kick off at 9.00am and run through to 5.00pm outside the Metro Bank Oxford store on Queen Street in Oxford.
