Community groups and charities in Oxford are being invited to apply for a share of £121,305 to help residents facing financial hardship.

The funding is being made available through Oxford City Council’s Crisis and Resilience Fund, a three-year programme supporting organisations that provide cost-of-living assistance and help build community resilience.

Grants of up to £2,000 are available for one year, while organisations can apply for up to £6,000 over three years. Funding could support initiatives including food provision, warm spaces, free activities and advice services.

The fund is open to charities and community groups operating from, or providing services within, the Oxford city boundary. A total of £40,435 will be available each year.

Applications can be made online, and the deadline to apply is Sunday 27 September.  

The funding forms part of wider support for Oxford residents experiencing financial pressures, with the council also providing advice and assistance through its cost-of-living services and local advice centres.
