Residents in Didcot and the surrounding area are being invited to nominate a local good cause to receive a £1,000 donation.

Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties, which is building homes at Valley Park in Didcot, has launched a community chest competition to support a group, organisation or individual considered deserving of financial help.

The donation could contribute towards new equipment, support a fundraising challenge or help meet another local need. The winner will be selected by Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties from the nominations received.

To nominate a cause, email didcot_communitychest@taylorwimpey-pr.co.uk with the nominee’s name and a brief explanation of why they should receive the donation.

Nominations must be received by midnight on Monday 23 November 2026. Only one nomination per person will be counted, and applicants under 18 must obtain permission from a parent or guardian.
