EV drivers visiting National Trust properties during this year’s Heritage Open Days can take advantage of 50% off EV charging at more than 65 destinations across the UK.
The offer, from charging operator RAW Charging, runs throughout Heritage Open Days, which takes place from 11 to 20 September 2026. It covers more than 500 charging bays, including both standard AC and faster DC chargers.
For drivers using DC rapid charging, the discounted rate brings the cost to less than 40p per kWh during the offer period. The chargers can be used with contactless payment, meaning drivers do not need to download an app to take advantage of the promotion.
The offer could be particularly useful for visitors planning heritage days out from Oxfordshire. National Trust properties across the wider region are taking part in Heritage Open Days, including Waddesdon Manor, Claydon House and Stowe Gardens in Buckinghamshire, while Chastleton House in Oxfordshire is also opening as part of the festival.
At Waddesdon Manor, visitors can access the house and grounds free of charge on 19 and 20 September, while Claydon House is offering free entry throughout the festival. Stowe Gardens is also holding its Heritage Open Week from 11 to 20 September.
Chastleton House, the Jacobean country house in Oxfordshire, is offering free entry to its house and gardens on Saturday 19 September from 1.00pm to 5.00pm.
Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture, with thousands of free events taking place across the country. The 2026 festival runs from Friday 11 to Sunday 20 September and is focused on encouraging people to explore the history and stories of their local areas.
