Blackwell’s is one of the most famous booksellers in the world. After 140 years of trading, Blackwell’s Bookshop – Oxford Westgate is the latest chapter in their Oxford story. The branch at Westgate joins the family of shops in Oxfordshire, complementing the iconic Broad Street, Art & Poster, Music and specialist Rare bookshops on Broad Street.
Blackwell’s have been selling books since 1879 and wins awards every year for our shops, our staff and your experience. They are a family-owned business and everyone who works for Blackwell’s has a passion for books and reading. They love to share their passion and knowledge with their customers, whatever your interests.
Blackwell’s Bookshop – Oxford Westgate has a welcoming atmosphere for solitary browsing and communal literary activities alike. Their events include children’s workshops and signings, big-name signings, book launches, and fascinating discussions between authors.
