About New College School
New College School is an independent preparatory school for boys aged 4 to 13 in Oxford.
New College School is the oldest school in Oxford. It was founded in 1379 by William of Wykeham to provide for the education of 16 choristers for the chapel of New College, Oxford. The School has enjoyed a close relationship with New College since it was founded, and with the active support of the College, it benefits from outstanding intellectual, cultural and sporting opportunities, which are consistent with our reputation for high academic standards, exceptional musical achievement and lively engagement in a range of activities.
