About Pingle Field, Bicester
Pingle Field is a recreation area and open space in Bicester – situated east of Chesterton, close to the Bicester Village.
Bicester Town Council has a sports pitch provision with changing pavilions at Pingle Field. The Town Council is responsible for the majority of the play areas, outdoor gyms and open spaces in the town – they ensure regular safety inspections, litter clearance, and maintenance works take place.
In March 2021, a defibrillator was installed in the town council-run sports pavilion at Pingle Field.

Bicester Round Table and Bicester Ladies Circle present the Charity Firework Spectacular at Pingle Field in November. It is also the start and finish point for the Mayor’s annual Santa Fun Run in December.
