About Silvie, Oxford
Silvie is a neighbourhood Bakery and Café in East Oxford known for its menu, which considers both season and local food availability alongside a selection of moreish freshly baked cakes and pastries.
Sister business to Browns, the guesthouse upstairs, Silvie is a much-loved brunch location, with its own personal style, and it has become a firm favourite of the east Oxford mummy troupe and remote workers.
Get there early to grab a signature cinnamon bun, or choose your selection from a blackboard menu of breakfasts, soups, toasties and more. Then order at the counter in the front room and grab the nearest nook to get comfy in.
The counter is swathed in delicious homemade cakes and bakes, and the pantry is always stocked with sourdough, coffee, wine, local beer and other sourced treats.
Silvie is available to hire, as well as equipped to host and cater for your event.

Thursday and Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm
Saturday and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm

After 7 amazing years, owner Jess has closed the cafe element of SILVIE and would like to thank everyone who supported her and made the cafe such a special and beautiful place. SILVIE has now evolved to offer bespoke cake and catering service, with its limited edition bakes and cakes available to order through its online Shop.
