About The Leys, Witney

The Leys is a large, well-maintained space in the middle of Witney that’s great for a traditional family day out in the park.

Whatever you want to do and whatever equipment you’ve got to hand, there’s something fun to do there with the family.

As well as the excellent adventure playground, with modern features for all age ranges, The Leys also has a seasonal splash park for the smaller ones, which is filled and cleaned regularly during summer – perfect for keeping little ones cool on a hot summer’s day.

There is an adventure play that’s suitable for kids aged between 2 and 10 years, with most of their favourites – from climbing fare to sliding surfaces.

The Leys also hosts football pitches, a cricket pitch and a cool skate park as part of West Witney Sports Ground. Witney Tennis Club is also at this site with 8 recently resurfaced tennis courts.

Then there’s seasonal crazy golf with tiny plastic clubs for the little kids, available to hire from Premier Tennis. And Witney Town Bowls Club has its green there with 2 bowling greens.

The Leys plays host to several events, including the Witney Feast that transforms The Leys into a mini theme park with rides, bumper cars and candyfloss.
