About Westgate Oxford

Westgate Oxford is a retail and leisure destination attracting world-class retailers and leisure facilities in Oxford City Centre. It’s a mix of global brands, eclectic restaurants and cafes, leisure and sophisticated rooftop bars and dining.

Opening hours

Westgate Oxford is open seven days a week. The first cafe opens at around 8.00am, and the cinema, rooftop restaurants and bars are all open late. Buzz Gym is accessible 24/7.

Give or take, the shops open from 10.00am to 8.00pm on Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 8.00pm on Saturday and 11.00am to 5.00pm on Sunday, but this is just a rough guide. Please check the opening hours of the store you are visiting, as individual shop times may vary.

Getting there

By bus
Westgate Oxford is located in the heart of Oxford city and can be easily be reached by bus.

By bike
Bicycle spaces are conveniently located in the vicinity of Westgate. Indoor secure parking stands as well as outdoor parking at Greyfriars Place (at the northern end of Old Greyfriars Street) are also available.

By car
Westgate has limited parking in an underground car park across two floors. If you’re coming in from out of town, you can travel using Park & Ride for your journey into the City Centre. Park & Ride is the easiest way to get into Oxford with journey times into the City Centre every 10-15 minutes during peak times. There are limited spaces in the nearby Gloucester Green and Worcester Street car parks.

By train
Oxford Station is the city’s mainline rail station for services to/from London Paddington, London Marylebone and Birmingham New Street. The station is situated on the western side of the city centre and it is just a 10-minute walk away from Westgate Oxford. There is a taxi rank immediately outside of the station and many buses travel from the station towards Westgate Oxford.
