Fashion retailer Bershka will open its first Oxfordshire store at Westgate Oxford on 29 October, bringing the Spanish brand’s clothing and accessories collections to the city.
The 11,000 sq ft store will be located on the Upper Ground floor, next to H&M and Urban Outfitters. Its arrival will give shoppers in Oxford and the surrounding area access to the brand’s collections in-store, without travelling to its existing UK locations in London and Birmingham.
Founded in 1998, Bershka is part of Spanish fashion group Inditex, which also owns Zara. The retailer targets a young audience with clothing, footwear and accessories.

The new store will feature collections for women and men, alongside BSK, the brand’s range for teenagers. The layout will include dedicated shopping areas, two payment areas and a large fitting room area.
Clare Martin, Centre Director at Westgate Oxford, commented:
“Bershka has been a hotly-anticipated brand here at Westgate Oxford, and our guests have been excitedly asking for an opening date since we revealed it’d be joining the centre.
“We’re pleased to confirm the store will officially open its doors on 29 October, and we look forward to welcoming another excellent, globally-renowned brand to our retail mix.”
Westgate Oxford, owned by property group Landsec, has more than 100 retail brands, alongside restaurants, a cinema and other leisure venues.
Bershka’s arrival adds another international fashion retailer to Oxford’s city centre shopping offer.
