About Wootton Science Park

Owned by Hartwell Plc since 1975, the park is being transformed into a hub for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in sectors such as life sciences, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and sustainability.

In 2024, Hartwell unveiled a £35 million masterplan designed by Scott Brownrigg to expand the park. The plan includes five new commercial buildings totalling around 106,233 square feet (9,869 square meters) of laboratory and workspace, along with amenities like a bistro, gym, secure bike storage, and landscaped green spaces.

The first building completed under this plan is “Origin,” a two-story CL2 laboratory building offering flexible suites ranging from approximately 2,500 to 10,000 square feet. Additional buildings, including “Infinity” and “Edge,” are scheduled for completion by the second quarter of 2026.

Strategically situated with access via the A420 and A34, Wootton Science Park is well-connected to Oxford, Abingdon, and major transport hubs like Didcot Parkway and Heathrow Airport. This prime location makes it an attractive option for growing science and tech companies seeking high-quality lab space within Oxfordshire’s innovation ecosystem.
