Oxford is preparing to burst into colour this weekend as Oxford Pride 2025 returns for its most vibrant and inclusive celebration to date.
With a spectacular line-up of performers, a joyful parade through the city’s historic streets, and an after-party hosted by a drag legend, this year’s festival promises to be a highlight of the summer.
Pride Parade: Flying the Flag for Equality
The heart of Oxford Pride 2025 kicks off with the vibrant Pride Parade, departing at 10.30am from Paradise Square Gardens. Participants will march through some of Oxford’s most iconic streets – Castle Street, Queen Street, Cornmarket Street, Broad Street, and Catte Street – before arriving at Radcliffe Square. From there, the celebrations continue in South Park.
Open to everyone, the parade welcomes registered groups to assemble from 9.30am, with the general public invited to join from 10.00am. This year, the parade route has been reversed, offering a fresh journey through the city’s historic centre. Dedicated stewards and volunteers will be on hand throughout to guide participants and ensure the event runs smoothly.
A Day of Pride and Performance
This year’s main stage at South Park is set to dazzle with headline appearances from Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard, rising star Ace, and dynamic pop duo Billy & Louie. Crowds can expect an electric atmosphere, with high-energy performances from local favourites and special guests from across the UK.
Festivalgoers will enjoy a bustling community and retail marketplace, street food vendors, and an atmosphere designed to celebrate love, identity, and belonging. Oxford Pride 2025 continues its commitment to being a safe, inclusive space for all, welcoming people from every walk of life to be their authentic selves.
After Party with Drag Royalty
When the sun goes down, the party moves to Glamorous Oxford, where the Official Oxford Pride After Party kicks off. This year’s headliner is none other than the inimitable Baga Chipz, who takes to the stage at 11.30pm for a show packed with wit, glamour, and iconic chaos. Tickets for the after-party are just £7.00, offering a fun, affordable night out to cap off an unforgettable day of Pride.
Support, Celebrate, Donate
Oxford Pride remains a charity-led initiative, and this year, the organisers are encouraging a voluntary £3.00 contribution to help fund the festival and year-round LGBTQ+ community support events. Every donation helps the organisation continue its vital work advocating for equality, providing safe spaces, and promoting inclusivity throughout Oxfordshire.
