Stowe House has launched its 2026 calendar, now available in the Visitor Centre, showcasing the talent of local photographers and supporting vital conservation work at the historic Buckinghamshire landmark.

The calendar features all the winning entries from the 2024 Photography Competition, which was held to celebrate 25 years of restoration at Stowe House.

Photographers of all ages were invited to capture the splendour of the Grade I listed house across categories including Exteriors, Interiors, Up-Close, Seasons, Under 18s, and the coveted Front Cover.

The winners were:

  • Up-Close: Peter Bignell
  • Interiors: Alvin Rousell
  • Seasons: Peter Adams
  • Under 18s: Gaia Mesonero-Perez
  • Exteriors: Ryan Zheng
  • Front Cover: David Hage

In addition to appearing in the calendar, these winning photographs will be displayed in a special exhibition in the Stowe House museum from 19 October 2025 through February 2026. Entry to the exhibition is included with admission tickets.

Sadie Bull, Visitor Experience Manager at Stowe House, said:

“The calendar not only highlights the incredible talent of our community but also makes a real difference to Stowe House. As an independent charity, the proceeds directly support our ongoing conservation projects. Every purchase helps us conserve this remarkable building and its stories for future generations.”

The 2026 calendar is priced at £10 and is available exclusively from the Visitor Centre. With Christmas approaching, it makes an ideal gift and offers a way for supporters to enjoy Stowe House’s beauty throughout the year.

The Stowe House Preservation Trust, which manages the house independently from the National Trust and Stowe School, has overseen its restoration since 1997. The charity depends on visitor income, donations, and a dedicated team of volunteers to continue its work preserving the heritage of this important site.
