Acclaimed comedian, actor, and writer Jim Jefferies is continuing his UK stand-up tour, Jim Jefferies: Son of a Carpenter, which kicked off in September.

The tour, already proving popular with fans, will visit venues across the country through November 2025, including a stop at Oxford’s New Theatre on 13 November.

Jefferies, one of the most influential and provocative voices in modern comedy, is renowned for his brutally honest, sharp, and often belief-challenging routines.

Born in Australia but forged in the UK’s comedy scene, his return feels like a homecoming for audiences who first embraced his distinctive style. Since those early days, he has become an international comedy powerhouse, entertaining millions across the globe with his fearless observations.

With ten stand-up specials to his name, including five Netflix hits, Jefferies continues to be one of the most consistent and daring voices in comedy.

His latest special, High & Dry (2023), reflects on everything from newly married life and the laziness of koala bears to the injustices of male pattern baldness and his vow to never drink again — all delivered with the signature wit and candour fans expect.

Beyond stand-up, Jefferies has made his mark on television and film. He co-created and starred in the FX series Legit and fronted The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central between 2017 and 2019, winning praise for its bold political and cultural commentary.

In 2019, he was named Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival, cementing his status as one of the comedy world’s most respected figures.

Currently, Jefferies hosts FOX’s reality show The Snake and is set to star in Jordan Peele’s new production, Him, alongside Tyriq Withers, Marlon Wayans, and Julia Fox, which releases in September 2025. He also has a brand-new Netflix special, Jim Jefferies: Town Limb Policy, premiering worldwide on 12 August 2025.

Tickets for Son of a Carpenter are available now via myticket.co.uk. With demand already high, audiences are encouraged to book early to avoid missing out on one of comedy’s most electrifying performers.
