The Ivy Oxford Brasserie is giving diners a mid-November boost with £5 off their bill as Oxford’s new city centre congestion charge comes into effect. The offer, available from Monday to Thursday between 10 and 21 November, is designed to help guests adjust to the new £5 daily charge now applied to vehicles entering parts of the city.
The gesture applies to guests dining from the à la carte menu who order a main course and book their table online in advance. By knocking £5 off the bill, The Ivy Oxford Brasserie aims to ease the impact on locals who may now be navigating the recently introduced charge, which was implemented at the end of last month to help cut traffic and support a cleaner, greener Oxford.

The scheme covers several major routes into the city centre and represents a significant change for commuters, visitors and residents. In response, the restaurant hopes the incentive will make mid-week dining a little sweeter.
James Mitchell, General Manager of The Ivy Oxford Brasserie, said: “Oxford’s congestion charge is here to help keep our beautiful city moving, and we think that’s something worth supporting. But we also know a little thank you never goes amiss, so whether you’ve braved the charge, walked, or made the most of the park and ride, we’re treating our guests to £5 off their bill to make the journey that bit sweeter.”

The restaurant, known for its stylish interiors and all-day dining, hopes the offer will appeal to anyone planning a catch-up with friends, a mid-week treat or a post-work dinner. The Ivy Oxford Brasserie says its aim is simply to help guests make the most of their time in the city centre, however they choose to travel in.
To redeem the offer, diners must book using this link. Walk-ins and existing bookings are excluded, and the promotion cannot be used alongside other discounts.

The Ivy Collection, which operates 45 brasseries and cafés across the UK and Ireland, continues to bring its signature blend of classic dishes, seasonal menus and warm hospitality to Oxford.
Open seven days a week, the restaurant is known for serving everything from breakfast through to dinner in settings inspired by the glamour and heritage of the flagship Ivy restaurant in London.
