Families visiting Westgate Oxford this May can enjoy a free augmented reality trail featuring Shaun the Sheep, along with a programme of half-term activities.
The Shaun the Sheep: Fun with the Flock trail will run from Friday 01 May to Sunday 31 May, inviting visitors to explore the shopping centre and discover nine interactive markers.
Each marker unlocks a 3D scene using augmented reality, allowing families to complete challenges with Bitzer the dog, pose with animated characters and capture photos and videos.

Trail maps and complimentary Shaun the Sheep headbands will be available from Guest Services, located next to JD Sports. Participants can also take photos with an artist-designed Shaun the Sheep sculpture displayed in the centre.
Families who complete the trail will receive a sticker prize. Adults who sign up to PLUS+, Westgate Oxford’s free rewards programme, will also be entered into a draw to win a £100 gift card for John Lewis.
During the May half-term holiday, Westgate Oxford will also host official Aardman clay-modelling workshops on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 May. Free Shaun the Sheep colouring sheets will be available from Guest Services every weekend, with PLUS+ members receiving priority access to workshop tickets.

Clare Martin, Acting Centre Director at Westgate Oxford, commented:
“The Shaun the Sheep A.R. trail will be a fun, quirky adventure, and we’re excited to partner with Aardman to bring it to the city. As well as the trail, guests will also be able to enjoy interactive art workshops and a stunning art sculpture of Shaun the Sheep.
“Together with our family-favourite brands across fashion, dining and entertainment, Westgate Oxford is the perfect destination for a fun-filled family day out this half term – and beyond.”
To take part in the trail, visitors can download the Fun with the Flock app and enter location code 2410, or complete the trail manually without using the app.
