Westgate Oxford is teaming up with DogFest for a Mutt Strut on 19 September, inviting dog owners to pose for photographs with their pets for the chance to win DogFest tickets and a £100 John Lewis voucher.
The event will take place at Leiden Square, where visitors can have their photograph taken with their dog and follow directions to enter the Mutt Strut competition.
The grand-prize winner will receive DogFest Plus tickets worth more than £60 each, together with a £100 John Lewis voucher. Three runners-up will each receive a pair of standard admission tickets to DogFest at Blenheim Palace.
Every participant will also receive a code offering 20 per cent off a DogFest ticket.
Dog owners taking part can expect dog treats and other giveaways during the day. Visitors will also be able to browse Rituals’ Dog Spa collection and John Lewis’ range of canine accessories.
The Mutt Strut comes ahead of DogFest at the Palace, which will take place at Blenheim Palace on Saturday 03 and Sunday 04 October.
Presented by Agria Pet Insurance, the festival will feature activities including the Agria Fun Dog Show, breed meet-ups, live entertainment, shopping and dog-focused activities.
Among the scheduled appearances is Oxfordshire-based canine influencer Viola Snow, who will appear on Sunday 04 October. DogFest ticket holders can enter a free ballot for the opportunity to attend one of two Meet & Greet sessions with Viola Snow.

The Mutt Strut at Westgate Oxford takes place on Saturday 19 September. Participation is available at the photo backdrop in Leiden Square, with competition entry accessed via the signposted directions.
