Helena Clews: From Seascape to Landscape
21 April to 02 May

About Helena Clews: From Seascape to Landscape
Helena’s paintings explore colour, line and texture, drawing inspiration from the sea, light, and natural beauty of Devon.
This exhibition presents a new collection that brings together the familiar landscapes of Oxfordshire with the dramatic coastline of Devon – returning her work to where her artistic journey first began.
Helena Clews is a former pupil of St Edward’s School and studied Fine Art at Manchester Metropolitan University. She was awarded the Ken Billany Prize in 2007.
She went on to complete an MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins before leaving her North London studio to fulfil a long-held dream of moving to Devon to paint by the sea. Helena has exhibited widely across the UK and her work is held in many private collections.
