Arbequina is a simply furnished, bohemian tapas restaurant and bar located in an old chemist’s shop on the vibrant Cowley Road in Oxford. There’s sitting downstairs by the vintage stainless steel counter or upstairs in the bay window.
The menu is concise and offers tasty, authentic and filling tapas dishes that are perfect for sharing between two. We found 3 tapas dishes plus a dessert dish was just about right.
The restaurant was established by Rufus Thurston, owner of Oli’s Thai, and Ben Whyles of former east Oxford stalwart Door 74.
Monday to Thursday: 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm

Due to past experience, and the consideration of our other guests, this is not a suitable restaurant for children under the age of 12.
