About Cotswolds Distillery
Located in the Cotswolds, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, some 15 odd minutes north of Chipping Norton, Cotswolds Distillery is an English whisky and spirits producer widely recognised for its role in the modern revival of English single malt whisky.
Founded in 2014 by Daniel Szor, the distillery combines traditional craft methods with locally inspired ingredients to produce award-winning whiskies and premium small-batch gin. Its portfolio includes the flagship Cotswolds Signature Single Malt, alongside limited-edition and cask-strength releases that showcase innovation and maturation expertise.
Beyond production, the distillery is a popular visitor destination, welcoming guests for guided tours, tastings and behind-the-scenes experiences that explore the whisky-making process. With a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, sustainability and regional heritage, Cotswolds Distillery has established itself as both a respected drinks producer and an important contributor to the UK’s growing English whisky industry.
Not often content with sitting still, the distillery has also produced a range of small-batch spirits and liqueurs. Distilled with nine carefully-considered botanicals, their Cotswolds Dry Gin is a London Dry with an aromatic twist. Many others are seasonal runs, available only in the distillery shop, but we have some long-standing favourites too.
