About The Crown Inn, Woodstock

The Crown Inn is a charming Grade-II listed 18th-century country-chic boutique hotel and restaurant set in the heart of historic Woodstock, Oxfordshire, less than a mile from the Blenheim Palace estate, and a 4-minute walk from The Oxfordshire Museum. It has 5 stylish and beautifully-appointed rooms, and there’s a bright restaurant with exposed brickwork and a fireplace, as well as a patio and a bar.

It might have 18th-century origins but the Crown is not your typical coaching inn, with its bright, almost greenhouse-style dining room complete with an attractive Belgian tiled floor. Fresh, light cooking takes its influences from the Mediterranean and makes good use of the wood-fired oven. Whether you opt for the Mediterranean feasting dishes, delicious wood-fired small plates or, something a little more classic, The Crown has a truly delicious menu.

The 5 stylish and beautifully-appointed rooms all feature super king beds (1 king!) and feature antique furniture, original artworks and exposed timber beams and Lefroy Brooks showers or baths. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, smart TVs, iPod docks, Egyptian cotton sheets, Cowshed products, and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast and parking are complimentary.

The Crown is the very definition of casual rural glamour, just right for couples looking for a relaxed and individual wedding day. Plan your perfect wedding at The Crown, a grade 2 listed coaching inn set in the historic town of Woodstock. Your party will have the option to enjoy eating in the beautiful conservatory, drinking in the large bar area, spilling out on to the ivy-clad walled terrace/courtyard and, for the chosen few, there are 5 double bedrooms to rest, relax and reflect.
