About The Eyston Arms, East Hendred
The Eyston Arms sits in the middle of the oldest part of the historic village of East Hendred, Oxfordshire, at the foot of the Ridgeway. Daisy Barton, the Dailey’s business Partner has long been the face of the Eyston Arms and her vivacious personality drives the success of the pub. In recent years it has received several awards and accolades and the partners pride themselves on the number of clients and friends who eat regularly at the Pub.
Wherever possible we source and use local ingredients with all dishes being prepared daily. Our steaks are always aged and our vegetables often come from our vegetable plots. Sea Food obviously comes from slightly further away but our close contacts at Brixham allows us to source and provide fish that was often only caught the previous evening and delivered straight to us.
We love an event – either of our own making or as the host of a wedding, special birthday, family gathering or good old fashioned party. We can cater for parties of up to 250 people with a variety of different options, please call Daisy to discuss your party’s requirements. We can seat up to 70 inside the pub but due to its higgledy-piggledy arrangement, not all in one area. Marquees can be arranged to open on to the terrace for weddings, office and Christmas parties and larger gatherings.
Good to know
There is a private dining room that can seat up to 12 people for meetings, family arguments and parties, shoot lunches or get-togethers with exceptionally rowdy friends.
