About The Lion at Wendlebury, Bicester

Whether you’re popping in after a long day of shopping at Bicester Village or looking for somewhere to celebrate that special occasion, The Lion at Wendlebury offers superb food and friendly service along with quality ales and fine wines in a traditional pub setting.

Located just 1 mile from Junction 9 of the M40, and only 2 miles from Bicester Village, The Lion has bags of character and warmth. The heart of the 18th-century stone building is delightfully charming, with a traditional bar featuring rugs on flagged floors, reclaimed oak beams, rustic stone walls, inglenook fireplaces (with wood-burners and blazing logs), plus mismatched vintage tables and chairs, books and unusual objets d’art.
