About The Sky Wave Distilling Company
Based in Oxfordshire, The Sky Wave Distilling Company makes micro-batch, handcrafted gin in the beautiful, quintessentially English county, the essence of which is incorporated into their spirits.
Blackberries foraged from the village hedgerows make up one of their botanicals, alongside locally grown raspberries. And they use the finest local natural mineral water from Blenheim Palace… no less!
Sky Wave Gins are made by passionate gin drinkers for passionate gin drinkers – made by real people, including Rachel and Andy – who own the company.
For their signature gin, they adhere to the London Dry style; absolutely nothing is added after distillation other than the finest Oxfordshire spring water. They distil, fill and label every single bottle by hand – and they personally write the distiller’s name and the flavour character on each one.
The gin combines 13 botanicals, including juniper and coriander seeds, together with a few unusual ones to create a wonderfully smooth gin. Many people who have tasted it have declared it their new favourite.
Why the name?
The company’s name is a blend of the big skies and big seas that have characterised Rachel and Andy’s adventures over the years – a passion for adventure that inspired us as we created our fabulously smooth spirit.
