With just 100 days to go until one of the UK’s most anticipated summer festivals returns, Big Feastival has unveiled a fresh wave of programming that further builds anticipation for its 2026 edition in the Cotswolds.

Taking place across the August Bank Holiday weekend (28–30 August 2026) at Alex James’ farm in Kingham, the festival continues to position itself as a unique blend of live music, award-winning food and family-focused entertainment.

This year’s headline acts — Basement Jaxx, The Streets and Bastille — anchor a main stage line-up that spans generations of British music, while new announcements add further depth across the festival’s evolving programme.

Among the latest additions are DJ Spoony, Sarah Story, Seb Fontaine and Tall Paul, alongside Capital Breakfast’s Chris Stark, Connor Coates and a surprise appearance from actor and comedian Simon Pegg. Returning favourite Alex James will also take to the decks with a host of special guests at the Cheese Hub, a signature festival space known for its high-energy late-night sets.

The Cheese Hub continues to act as one of Big Feastival’s most distinctive stages, blending established names with new talent in a celebratory, party-led atmosphere. This year also sees BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story and Connor Coates making their debut appearances, adding further variety to an already stacked roster.

Elsewhere, The Outpost returns following a successful debut, expanding its live music and after-hours programme. New acts include Marley, Riding The Low, Maya Lane, Jack Rideout, and Jonny Morgan & The Moral Support, alongside the ever-popular Indie Disco Karaoke. They join an extensive bill that already includes names such as Fabio & Grooverider, The Allergies (DJ set), The Horne Section, Sweet Female Attitude and more.

Food remains central to the festival’s identity, with culinary experiences designed to be as much of a draw as the music. Pit Kitchen returns with its immersive dining format, hosting both the Thursday Night Feast for early arrivals and its relaxed Lazy Lunch sessions.

Evening highlights include the Fire Pit Feasts, a series of chef-led dining experiences featuring Goldies, Josh Eggleton and Mel Brown. Each night pairs fire-cooked menus with curated drinks, including a St Germain Spritz on arrival and Champagne Canard Duchêne throughout the experience.

On the Big Kitchen stage, Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan headlines a programme of live demonstrations alongside Anna Haugh, Emily English, Rachel Allen, Poppy O’Toole and others, offering festivalgoers a chance to see leading culinary figures in action.

Families are once again firmly at the heart of the event, with a broad programme of entertainment spanning children’s TV favourites, interactive performances and comedy-led experiences. Highlights include Justin Fletcher, Taskmaster Club, MC Grammar and the KPop Demon Hunters Disco, alongside live comedy and podcast recordings from Joel Dommett, Suzi Ruffell, Ivo Graham, Joe Thomas and James Buckley.

As Big Feastival approaches its 2026 edition, the latest announcements underline its continued evolution as a multi-layered festival experience — bringing together music, food and family entertainment in a uniquely rural setting on Alex James’ Cotswolds farm. With tickets already on sale, the countdown to one of the UK’s most distinctive summer weekends is firmly underway.
