National property consultancy Carter Jonas has secured planning consent on behalf of Landan Homes Ltd to create a select development of eight new homes in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.
The planning consent was awarded by the Vale of White Horse District Council in May 2023.
The planning consent allows for eight units: a mixture of two- to five-bedroom homes, both detached and semi-detached, which will be situated in landscaped surroundings. The scheme will deliver a biodiversity net gain in excess of the minimum requirement.
Based in Hertfordshire, Landan Homes is a forward-thinking business which sources land and designs sustainable developments in the right locations.
Its intention is to ensure the next generation of high-quality homes are delivered where they are most needed with minimal impact on the surrounding areas.
Huw Mellor, Partner, Planning and Development, Carter Jonas Oxford, commented: “We are extremely pleased to have achieved this planning consent for Landan Homes.
“Delivering a good mix of house types and sizes, this scheme will help address the acute local housing need in a sustainable and well-considered manner.”
Daniel Howlett of Landan Homes Ltd commented: “This was our first project in the area. Therefore we wanted to engage with a team who had excellent knowledge and working relationships with the local authority as well as other consultants locally.
“Carter Jonas was recommended to us due to years of successfully dealing with Vale of White Horse to ensure the best possible outcome on various types of proposals.
“Huw was a pleasure to deal with, and the end result is a great scheme for eight houses, which we are confident will be the first of many for Landan Homes in the VoWH District…with the continued help of Carter Jonas, of course.”
