voco Oxford Spires, based on the Abingdon Road, has announced the appointment of Dennis Pisarenco as the hotel’s new Director of Operations. A proven operations leader, Dennis is bringing over a decade of diverse hospitality experience to the role, having worked across the UK in both independent and branded hotels.
Before joining voco Oxford Spires, Dennis successfully led the opening of two independent hotel properties, overseeing the rebranding of one to voco.
Dennis said: “I’m excited to join voco Oxford Spires at such a dynamic time. Oxford is a globally recognised destination, and the hotel itself has huge potential. From day one, I’ve felt aligned with the hotel’s strategy, and I’m looking forward to making a tangible impact on both guest experience and overall performance.”
In his first months, Dennis will focus on working closely with team members, evaluating guest feedback, and identifying areas for operational improvement. With a keen interest in smart technology and sustainability, Dennis will explore enhancements that align with IHG’s goals to improve energy efficiency and embed greener practices across departments.
Dennis will be leading from the front as the hotel looks to elevate its food and beverage offering, bringing a fresh take on popular dishes with creative twists, stylish presentation, and a curated menu of signature cocktails.
