The much-loved, multi-million-selling Australian pop group Crowded House, nine-time Grammy-winning US singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow, and Mercury and Brit-nominated duo Turin Brakes are the first acts to be announced for next summer’s Nocturne Live concert series.
The popular live music event will return to the 10,000-capacity UNESCO World Heritage Site of Blenheim Palace in Woodstock from 12 to 16 June 2024.
The three acts will bring the five-night series to a close on Sunday, 16 June.
Crowded House and Sheryl Crow were two of the biggest artists of the ‘90s and have collectively sold over 60 million albums throughout their careers to date.
Fronted by singer and guitarist Neil Finn, Crowded House became one of Australia’s most successful exports thanks to huge international hits, including Don’t Dream It’s Over, Weather With You, Fall At Your Feet, Four Seasons In One Day and many more.
Sheryl Crow, who was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year, recently celebrated 30 years since the release of her hit-filled, multi-Grammy-winning debut album, Tuesday Night Music Club.
Speaking about the announcement, Neil said: “The band are excited to be playing shows in the UK again next summer.
“To be performing our songs in front of the magnificent Blenheim Palace and to have our friend and gifted songwriter Sheryl Crow playing on the same bill will make it a special night for band and audience alike. I can’t wait.”
General release tickets for Crowded House and Sheryl Crow start at £54 and go on sale at 9.00am on Friday, 10 November.
Pre-sale tickets will be available to those signed up to the Nocturne Live mailing list and begins at 9.00am on Tuesday, 07 November.
Tickets, along with a limited number of VIP packages – which provide an exclusive opportunity to dine in the State Rooms of Blenheim Palace – are available from the Nocturne Live website.
