Murray & Peter Present have announced the Haters Roast is coming to the UK for the very first time in Spring 2023 for The Shady Tour, a drag comedy spectacular hosted by The Vivienne, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1.
The nationwide tour, from 28 March to 09 April 2023, features nine of the world’s most loved RuPaul’s Drag Race stars from across the UK, the US and Canada for twelve outrageous evenings of unapologetic comedy that will have the audiences rolling on the floor laughing.
Kicking off on Tuesday, 28 March, in Newcastle, Haters Roast – The Shady Tour will hit 12 stages across the UK, including Glasgow, Manchester, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Brighton, Oxford, Nottingham, Cardiff, Birmingham, and London’s iconic Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. General tickets will be available on sale at 10.00am on Friday, 28 October.
The shameless full-on roast will see the queens arrive on stage armed with their crudest slander, ready to ‘read’ and vilify one another, their fellow castmates, celebrities, and peers, all in the name of comedy and for some good and very filthy, fun.
The Vivienne will be joined by RPDR All Stars Season 4 winner Trinity the Tuck, New York City queen Miz Cracker, the infamously disqualified Willam, Canadian drag star Jimbo, RPDR UK fan favourite Baga Chipz and Season 2 winner Scottish drag royalty Lawrence Chaney, North Carolina’s Heidi N Closet, and RPDR Season 13 runner-up Kandy Muse for the ultimate showdown of witty insults, spilled tea, insensitive comments, political incorrectness, and hilarious shenanigans.
The Vivienne says: ‘I am BEYOND excited to be hosting Haters Roast UK! I’m overjoyed Murray and Peter Present are coming to the UK! Touring the States with them this past summer was one of the best experiences of my life! You’re in for one hell of a show! But remember…….it’s a roast! So if you’re too woke to joke……..please don’t come!’
Murray of Murray & Peter Present says: ‘We are thrilled to finally bring our drag shows to the UK, but if comedy roasts offend you, we strongly suggest you don’t buy a ticket.’
Peter of Murray & Peter Present says: ‘Well, it’s about damn time! I’ve been waiting for 5 years. Bring on the laughs…!’
