Persimmon Homes has retained its five-star customer satisfaction rating for a fifth consecutive year, with the South West housebuilder again receiving the highest possible score in an annual survey of homebuyers.

The rating is based on feedback from customers after moving into their new homes and reflects satisfaction with both the quality of the build and the support provided after purchase.

This year’s result marks the fifth consecutive year that Persimmon Homes has achieved the maximum five-star accreditation, continuing a run of strong customer survey performances across its regional operations.

The survey process has recently been updated to provide a broader picture of buyer experience over time. Scores are now drawn from customer responses collected both eight weeks and nine months after moving in, with greater emphasis placed on build quality and aftercare.

Persimmon operates a number of developments across the South West, including sites in Helston, Taunton, Didcot and Wootton-under-Edge, reflecting the company’s presence across several counties including Oxfordshire.

Welcoming the latest result, Rob Hart, Regional Chairman for Persimmon in the South West, said:

“We’re proud that all four of our South West businesses have been rated five stars by our customers for the fifth year running. It’s great to see this reflected in our Trustpilot rating too, showing the quality of service customers receive throughout their homebuying journey.

“The rating now looks closely at build quality and the support people receive after they move in, so it’s encouraging to see those areas recognised. Our focus remains on maintaining that standard and continuing to improve for those choosing a new home with us.”

The updated survey methodology is intended to provide a more detailed assessment of customer satisfaction by examining both the immediate experience of moving into a new property and the longer-term support received from the builder.

For buyers, aftercare has become an increasingly important measure of service, particularly as developers face growing expectations around responsiveness and defect resolution.

Persimmon’s continued five-star rating places it among housebuilders maintaining strong customer feedback under the revised assessment process.

The company says its focus remains on maintaining standards across construction quality and customer support as demand continues across developments in the South West and Oxfordshire.
