After much anticipation, Sephora UK has officially opened its flagship store at Westgate Oxford, bringing its globally recognised beauty experience to Oxfordshire for the first time.

The new 3,919-square-foot store is Sephora’s 12th in the UK and the last of five openings planned for 2025, after new locations in Liverpool ONE, Sheffield Meadowhall, Manchester Arndale, and Cardiff St David’s, which was the first outside England.

The space, once home to Victoria’s Secret, is now a modern beauty destination ready to welcome Oxford’s beauty community.

The launch reflects Sephora’s continued nationwide expansion and commitment to creating vibrant spaces that combine innovation, inclusivity, and inspiration.

Oxford’s unique mix of heritage, student life, and international visitors made it a natural choice for the brand’s latest opening, with Westgate Oxford providing the perfect backdrop in the heart of the city.

Inside, shoppers will discover a curated selection of skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance from leading global names and emerging cult favourites. Alongside Sephora Collection, visitors can explore “Only at Sephora” exclusives such as Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Makeup by Mario, and Merit Beauty, as well as much-loved brands including Rare Beauty, Glossier, Sol de Janeiro, VIEVE, and Tatcha.

To mark the opening, Sephora Oxford is introducing its new Beauty Bonus Card giveaway model, replacing the traditional “first in line” approach. Every shopper making a purchase over the opening weekend will receive a card for the chance to win prizes ranging from full-size products to exclusive goodie bags.

Beyond the products, the Oxford store will offer an immersive beauty experience complete with personalised consultations, gift wrapping, engraving, and access to the MySephora loyalty scheme, which rewards members with points, exclusive products, events, and special offers.

Sephora’s arrival in Oxford also reflects the brand’s growing influence among beauty fans, many of whom first discovered it through TikTok and Instagram. For this audience, Sephora represents not just a destination for beauty shopping but a space for creativity, self-expression, and connection.

Founded in France in 1970 and now part of the LVMH Group, Sephora operates more than 2,700 stores across 35 countries. Its Oxford opening marks the next step in the brand’s UK journey, blending the city’s historic charm with Sephora’s modern, inclusive vision of beauty retail.

With its combination of historic charm, vibrant student life, and global tourist appeal, it is envisaged that Oxford will prove to be the ideal location for Sephora’s latest flagship store. And from today, the city’s beauty enthusiasts can experience firsthand what has made the brand a global phenomenon.
