Wilderness Festival 2025 unleashes a sonic storm with stellar new lineup

A brace of banging bands, artists, collectives, DJs and much more besides have just been added to the Wilderness Festival 2025 line-up.

The event promises new treasures across the board, from the hypnotic and much-hyped berlioz who will be debuting the Wilderness Stage with his melodic four-four productions, to Rosie Lowe and Nubiyan Twist who are set to do their excellent thing for the Women In Jazz takeover.

Masters of musical fusion The Turbans will return, weaving their riotous global magic and raising dancefloor vibes sky-high, legendary crate-digger and all round superstar Craig Charles will bring his Funk and Soul Show to make everyone move with Afro-infused rhythms and hypnotic grooves.

The Mercury Prize-nominated, future-facing Georgia will deliver high-octane, emotionally charged electro-pop with a bold DIY spirit. The poetic lyricist Antony Szmierek is one of the UK’s most compelling new voices, often likened to The Streets and Loyle Carner: expect warm, laid-back grooves and a commanding live presence. 

W. H. Lung will create synth-laced post-punk and psychedelic pop for a full-body live experience, raw, rebellious, radiant and Queens of Madrid’s indie garage haunts, Hinds feature sun-drenched guitars, breezy harmonies and tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

The Jungle Giants will bring their bold alt-pop loaded with hooks straight from Australia’s vibrant indie scene. Indie-folk songwriter Bess Atwell will explore identity, mental health, and the quiet complexities of modern life. Olive Jones will offer soulful, atmospheric alt-pop with a voice that turns heads and holds hearts. 

Flo Naegeli is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Dresden, with a distinctive blend of indie soul and pop crafted on an array of instruments, synth pads, and drums. 

Fresh out of Melbourne, Radio Free Alice are all post-punk attitude and melodic bite. Jacob Alon is part of the new wave of alt-pop minimalists making a big emotional impact, and Hot Dub Time Machine is the world’s greatest time-travelling dance party, touching down on the Wilderness Stage for the very first time. Hot Dub promises to take you on an audio-visual journey through the biggest hits from the ’50s to now – all killer, no filler.

The full line-up for new music hothouse The Dive is ready to be explored, bringing together a huge collection of artists from the indie world; from the angular, artful and always surprising Moreish Idols – part of the UK’s post-punk renaissance – to bold, no-nonsense riot grrrl revivalists Baby Said. 

Food critic, broadcaster, and bon vivant Jay Rayner will bring his signature wit and storytelling flair for a special live edition of Food Stories, The Atrium hosts some excellent comedians – Live at The Apollo and QI fave Tom Ward, Spirit of The Fringe Award winner Auri Styla and Welsh comedian and writer Morgan Rees – plus ‘King of Cabaret’ Desmond O’Connor will take on Shakespeare through a cabaret lens.

Gregarious and fabulous as ever, The House of Sublime will unite performers from every corner to titillate. A glorious whirlwind of surreal cabaret, wild drag, and unfiltered comedy, Dan Wye’s Am I Sam Smith? is a chaotic masterpiece of character work and glitter-soaked absurdity.

Hackney Wick wonder The Yard Theatre will present a triple whammy of their latest productions and parties: The Last Show Before We Die – the raucous, genre-bending feast which attempts to answer life’s existential questions – profound and profane, Paradise With Love is a mashup of romance, kitsch and absolute chaos cabaret, circus and beyond and vibrant, inclusive celebration of LGBTQ+ nightlife Queer Dance Party Knickerbocker is set to touch down to spin you right round.

Elsewhere, The Jumpyard – curated by festival aficionados Continental Drifts – will bring the big bands, vibrant rhythms and even more late-night skanking. Super sharp and witty comedic singer-songwriter Huw Joseph is an Australian-born, UK-based performer well known for his quirky, genre-blending performances.

Acoustic trio Thrill Collins will return with their renowned skiffle-pop renditions of modern classics, and Madame Electrifie fuses vintage beats with contemporary sounds, threading hip hop, funk, house, disco, bass and breaks to create a raucous mix.

The Family Field continues to be eye-poppingly magical: Bhangra Tots with Sohan Kailey is a vibrant, interactive experience designed to introduce young children to the energetic world of Bhangra dance through storytelling, music, and movement.

Participants can sculpt a Pine Cone Baby Owl with Explore Nature or get their little one on the decks with Transmission Roundhouse at one of their DJ Workshops for aspiring up-and-comers.
