Chinnor Village Hall is situated centrally within the village of Chinnor, which nestles at the bottom of the Chiltern Hills in South Oxfordshire. It has been part of village life since 1939.

Surrounded by rural life, Chinnor Village Hall is an ideal location offering excellent modern facilities to accommodate as many varied events as possible.

It’s an ideal place to hold parties, meetings, club sessions, toddler groups, theatre and musical groups, and training events.

The hall is managed by the Chinnor Village Hall Management Committee, made up of a group of dedicated volunteers who meet once a month at 7.00pm on the 3rd Wednesday. These are more of a “Catch-Up” meeting and ideas for further fundraising. New committee members are always welcome.

There are two halls available for hire. Both are bright and cheerful and have kitchen facilities nearby, along with alcohol and music licences.

Small hall
This delightful hall is ideal for parties of 80 standing or 60 seated. The hall has been used for wedding receptions and several christening parties. It is versatile, with a wooden laminate floor and access to the kitchen servery, making it easy to serve guests with refreshments.

Main hall
This is the largest in the vicinity and will hold 200 people standing and 150 seated. Separate dressing rooms are available for ladies and girls, men plus boys, all with their own facilities. New heating, electrics and plumbing have brought this marvellous location right into the 21st century.

Committee rooms
Behind the stage are two smaller rooms, both with their own facilities. These are also bright and cheerful, large enough for a small group meeting of 5 to 6 people. There is also a more subdued upstairs room easily accessed by stairs or lift and close to both ground-floor kitchens.
